I will say of the , “He is my refuge and my fortress,
For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people.
And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrificesGod is pleased.
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnessesin Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on them.
However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.
Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.
Jesus looked at them and said,
Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.
So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.
Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this:
Ah, Sovereign , you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.
The righteous lead blameless lives; blessed are their children after them.
